Elaine Stritch At Liberty
Charity Randall Theatre in Stephen Foster Memorial, Oakland
Saturday, October 18 – 8:00pm
Cabaret Pittsburgh is thrilled to join Pittsburgh Irish and Classical Theatre in hosting the legendary performer Elaine Stritch in the Pittsburgh premiere of her Tony Award-winning one-woman show, At Liberty.  The one-night-only performance will be on Saturday, October 18th at 8 p.m. in the Charity Randall Theatre , Stephen Foster Memorial, Oakland . The evening of music and comedy traces Stritch's life and career, which has included Tony-nominated performances in A Delicate Balance, Bus Stop, Sail Away and Company, where she originated the role of Joanne. Accompanied by her musical director and collaborator Rob Bowman, she will perform the songs of Stephen Sondheim, Noël Coward, Richard Rogers, Johnny Mercer and Irving Berlin, among others. The show is a funny, touching and candid revelation of her life experiences, including her battle with alcoholism. From her first experiences in New York as a naive 17-year-old (including her date with classmate Marlon Brando) to director Hal Prince's unfailing faith in her (even after she froze and forgot part of a song on opening night of Company), the sassy, one-of-a-kind actor holds nothing back!

Tickets are $50, $75, and $250; the $250 VIP tickets include premium seating and a post-performance reception. Business and individual sponsorship packages are also available and start at $300. VIP tickets and sponsorships are on sale now through the PICT office: call 412-561-6000 x207. All other tickets will be available beginning September 12th through ProArts Tickets (412-394-3353 or online at www.proartstickets.org).
